Circuit design
I have the experience to design and produce any mixed-signal design. I work closely with you on your requirements and we brainstorm together to take a viable design from proof of concept to a working product, covering WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity, sensor integration and signal conditioning, and battery management and power systems.
Printed circuit board design
Designing an electrically sound, manufacturable PCB is crucial. I have 15+ years of experience with multi-layer, mixed-signal PCB layouts. I also know how to think three-dimensionally when space is critical.
Firmware development
Most modern designs call for elegant control of user-facing buttons and LEDs. To maximize user-friendliness, embedded software (firmware) may be necessary to drive the desired user control. Embedded software may also control an entire system, from negotiating wireless technologies (WiFi, Bluetooth) to precisely controlling electro-mechanical functions.
Prototyping and assembly
In most products, there are several electrical parts that make up the entire product, from power supply selection to user-interface components to wire harness design. I can design the entire electrical system and all of its sub-components to seamlessly create a cohesive product.
Testing
Once the fabrication of the first prototype is complete, the design enters the testing phase. I test and tune individual subsystems for optimal functionality.
