01 · Smart faucet & mixing valve
SBIR-funded accessibility product
What they needed: an SBIR-funded smart faucet and mixing valve that a person with a spinal-cord injury could use, with precise control of water flow and temperature.
What I built: the electronics for a faucet carrying three sensors and nozzles, paired with an under-the-sink thermostatic mixing valve. Sensor integration, control, and the accessibility-driven interaction design.
02 · Delta-style 3D printer
Consumer hardware
What they needed: the complete electrical system for a robust delta-style 3D printer, built by a small team that needed one person to own the electronics end to end.
What I built: the full electrical infrastructure, combining commercial components with custom circuit boards and specialized wire harnesses, plus sourcing every off-the-shelf electrical part needed to build it.
03 · Smart container
Connected consumer IoT
What they needed: a connected smart container that could sense how full it was and report it, taken from concept through to manufacturing.
What I built: infrared sensor pairs for fill-level detection and a main board bringing together WiFi connectivity, power management, user-interface elements, and sensor interfaces. I also oversaw manufacturing, including test-fixture design.
